I wanted to make having some resources easy accessible, all in one place. If you are struggling to know whether you may be autistic or neurodivergent, some of the sites below should help you get started and find some support. If you want to connect with some resources such a online 'tests' that give you an indication but not a diagnosis then you can use this page here.

My own journey began with someone I trusted, suggesting it to me. Initially I disregarded it but I did a lot of looking up videos with autistic females exploring their own neurodivergence. The more I looked, the more I understood that yes I was autistic and my teen son was too. Looking back now it seems glaringly obvious, but I was used to hearing about the stereotypes and so it never entered my consciousness. That was almost 4 years ago now and whilst I chose to get an assessment, I needed the clarity and validation for having struggled with so much over my life, my son decided not to go ahead. He has very valid reasons and none of it is shame. He fully embraces thats he's autistic and is happy to tell anyone. He's accepted by us and his good friends as well as himself and that is all that matters. Plus the wait list would mean he's out of education and he doesn't require any extra support.
When it comes to all I've learnt and found over the past four years I couldn't possibly share it all on this post. However if there is a resource that you think would be a good addition to the list please get in touch and I can look at adding it.
'Nothing about us, without us.'
